Threats and opportunities in motivating senior workers in education with experience in further education.

The diploma thesis deals with the motivation of managers in the field of further education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how kindergarten principals with practice perceive their own motivation to continue their education, or to identify a certain key critical period during their career as a kindergarten principal. Attention is paid to the characteristics of managers, their motivation, personal development and further education. Issues related to the burnout syndrome, possible factors causining the resigns of a manager, fundamental obstacles in motivation and critical moments of managers in their careers are also elaborated. The thesis includes qualitative research based on personal interviews with educational leaders, which took the form of semi-structured interviews. Qualitative research was chosen on the basis that appropriate methods could be used to achieve the stated aim of the thesis. A research sample was selected and specified for the qualitative research work. The research sample for this thesis was selected as the headmistresses of kindergartens who have long experience in the position, six years or more. Headmaster after ten years, new inspiration

I am interested in the problematics of the professional career of the experienced school headmasters who have been at their work position for more than 10 years in my final bachalor's thesis. I am concerned about headmasters from different types of schools, with different number of pupils and students as well as different region of work. The goal was to create the file of the most often occurance of motivation factors and of inspirational sources of that target group. My work is based on all involved conditions, in which these people perform their job. It comes out the requests, which are laid on them and out of expectation which is closely connected to this sort of demanding job. The work reveals the most common motivational factors and inspirational sources of experienced headmasters through the qualitative empirical research and through the oriented method of life history. Furthermore it releases them in the particular context. At the same time it brings the knowledge about the importance of motivational factors and inspiration from the perspective of headmasters of schools themselves. Beginning phase of career manager for non-formal education

This thesis deals with the beginning phase of career manager for organization non- formal education. The work examines the process that precedes the onset school manager to executive positions primarily in terms of motivation, expectations and subsequent reality. It describes the initial phase of his work in a new role in life from the perspective of the management of school facilities and other activities associated with this process . The work is mapped to what extent the entrance to the Director and his previous preparation reflects on the development of controlled organization and quality of education provided . It also describes how to correspond to the expectations of the individual manager of educational facilities with a daily reality in the context of changing conditions providing non-formal education, based on education legislation and the overall development of society in the approach to the use of leisure time. Careers of the preschool principals

The master thesis deals with the issue of the careers of the preschool principals after twenty years in the office. The theoretical section describes the needs of principals, their responsibilities, adult education and motivation for their job. It works on the assumption that the determining factor for the very good principal is his/her personal potential which leads to the fulfillment of the competencies which are necessary for his/her office. The research section search answers to the question of how preschool principals after twenty years in the office look at their own career. The qualitative research was used in which the unstructured interviews with preschool principals were conducted. The findings such as needs of principals after twenty years in the office, their abilities to continue to manage school in the changing society, their plans for further professional growth and their motivation for further work after twenty years in the office are described in the conclusion of the master thesis. The findings such as needs of principals after twenty years in the office, their abilities to continue to manage school in the changing society, their plans for further professional growth and their motivation for further work after twenty years in the office are described in the conclusion of the master thesis. Professional Career of Educators in After-School Clubs

The thesis deals with the development of the career of educators in after-school clubs. One part of the thesis is a theoretical part and the other part is my own research. Chapter one defines the concepts of the professional career and the life path. The second chapter deals with the educator in the after-school club, their job description and the qualifications related to the profession, competencies, typology of educators and the risks of the burnout syndrome for the profession. The third chapter analogously deals with the profession of a teacher. In the fourth chapter, I compare the career path of the educator with the professional career of the teacher, and the overall summary. The fifth chapter presents the findings of a qualitative research (five biographical interviews).
Start and course of life and professional career of School Headmasters

This theoretical and empirical thesis focuses on career and life paths of headmasters of Czech secondary schools. Its aim is to capture and analyse data about different phases of eadmaster's career: from its early beginnings, throughout critical moments which could influence certain decisions, as whether to stay in the position or leave, up to the discrepancy between individual career expectations and the eventual reality. The theoretical part of the thesis defines terms such as life path, career, headmaster of a secondary school and school management. The research is using the method of a so-called life story, which provides answers to the research questions. Main data was collected using half-structured interviews with individual headmasters and supplementary data was collected using document analyses and managerial testing method GRID. By looking at the results in the thesis, we can observe that life paths and careers of individual headmasters show some common elements, such as family background, which is considered as an important prerequisite that can determine individual performance in this role. As far as gender is concerned, years of experience or legal subjectivity of the school, no significant elements were detected which would have some greater impact on the career or life path itself....
Career of Graduates of Faculty of Management with honors

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the career path of selected graduates from the master's program of further study at the Faculty of management after obtaining a honors and whether it can be considered as successful. To meet this goal four objectives are identified: researching graduate professional practices during studies, mapping the graduation of graduates to the labour market, describing the course of careers and determining the graduate's professional success. Data collection is carried out by semi structured interviews with selected graduates. The results are presented by individual areas related to the objectives, followed by a brief summary of the findings. At the end of the work a discussion of the research results, its possible limits and suggestions for further investigations are made.
